RISK CONSULTING LONDON — POWER BI PBIP STARTER PROJECT

This is a genuine folder-based Power BI Project (PBIP), not a renamed ZIP or a fabricated PBIX file. The project uses Microsoft's documented PBIP, PBIR and semantic-model structures. It includes:

- Risk Dashboard.pbip project shortcut
- a semantic model for risk, incidents, trend, counterparty credit and liquidity data
- executive dashboard page definitions with KPI cards, category chart, trend chart and priority-risk table
- Risk Consulting London theme and logo assets
- sanitised illustrative CSV data
- DAX measure reference and an Excel dashboard preview

OPEN AND REFRESH

1. Extract the whole ZIP to a short local folder, for example C:\RCL-Risk-Dashboard.
2. Copy the contents of the supplied Data folder to C:\Risk-Consulting-London\Data, or open Transform data > Manage Parameters and change DataFolderPath.
3. In a current Windows Power BI Desktop, enable the Power BI Project (PBIP) preview option if your version still requires it.
4. Double-click Risk Dashboard.pbip.
5. Select Refresh, review data types and verify every measure and visual before use.
6. Save as PBIX from Power BI Desktop only if your client requires PBIX distribution.

VALIDATION BOUNDARY

The JSON, PBIP/PBIR links, model definitions and ZIP structure have been validated in this release environment. Power BI Desktop is not available in this Linux environment, so the project has not been UI-opened or refreshed in Power BI Desktop. Microsoft states that PBIX-to-PBIP conversion is performed in Power BI Desktop; this package deliberately does not pretend to be a PBIX file.

CONFIDENTIALITY

All Entity A–F labels and values are fictional. No supplied ICS entity names, vendor logos, scores, financial information or other confidential source details are included.

Client-use checklist: replace sample data; validate data lineage, permissions and policy thresholds; test refresh; review measures; confirm accessibility; document ownership; obtain approval before publication.
